Let's grant their holidays wishes.
A heart transplant is just the beginning of the journey.
Most people do not know that a heart transplant is not a cure but only a bridge to life and, that on average, a pediatric heart transplant lasts only 17 years. Sadly, one in four transplants will fail within five years, primarily due to organ rejection.
Our goal is to make a heart transplant last a lifetime.
Our heart heroes have big dreams of what they’ll be when they grow up and we invite you to give to help these kids have the chance of a lifetime - and the chance to be a paleontologist, a firefighter, a ballerina, or a doctor. With your support, we can ensure they will have the chance to achieve their biggest dreams!
Together, we can give them a chance of a lifetime.
We fund the critical, yet often overlooked research needed to eliminate rejection, prevent life-threatening complications, and reduce the risk that a second transplant will be needed. We are laser-focused, and the only national nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to pediatric heart transplant research, your support, and our research are critical.
We are a 501(c)3 national charity located in Atlanta, Georgia
Let's give them the chance of a lifetime this holiday season!
